The AI models utilized by Nexus operate based on trained algorithms and do not use actual photographs. As a result, the rights to the generated prompts, images, and NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) primarily reside with Nexus. However, the owner of the NFT is permitted to utilize their personal NFT as they see fit.
It is important to note that while OpenAI has initial ownership rights to the intellectual property, they have granted the right of ownership to the individual who generated the prompt. Thus, Nexus acknowledges and allows the owner of a specific NFT to sell, distribute, or create variations of the owned prompt. In the event that an NFT is sold, the rights to the aforementioned intellectual property will transfer to the new owner, including any variations made from the prompts generated by Nexus.
Again we do not control the outcome of these prompts, given the random nature of Nexus and the interpretation of DALL-E, the prompts may generate amazing works of art or Happy Mistakes. In the case that you do not like the result, you have several options:
- Sell the piece – Someone out there may like it.
- Keep it in your wallet but generate another one or few to get a happy result.
- Burn it – We will release a burn address and info once we launch and if you truly do not like it you can send to a burn address.
- Send it to an enemy. Not always the first decision, but why not, feel better about giving it to your enemy or ex.

DALL-E does not have the ability to make logical decisions and as a result, some images may appear nonsensical or incongruous, such as an airplane window with a dog on the wing. When minting an NFT, please understand that Project Nexus simply provides prompts to the AI and any combinations that result are purely a product of random generation and not the intentional design of Project Nexus.
